Accountant

Duties and Responsibilities

1.                   Costing

-                     Ensure all costings for all products are always updated

-                     Ensure all our products are always competitive

-                     Ensure best value is obtained when sourcing for products.

2.                  Reporting.

-                     Prepare and analyse the monthly budget/forecast to actual variance reports.

-                     Preparing Financial Statement, Budget Performance, Monthly and Yearend Reports.                   

-                     Ensure that all key reporting deadlines are met.

3.                  Internal Controls

-                     Ensure all internal control systems are sound and ensure their effectiveness.

4.                 Financial Management

-                     Ensure creditors are paid on time and debtors are collected timeously.

5.                  Other duties

-                     Supervision of the Accounts Clerks.

-                     Teamwork and motivation of staff.

Qualifications

The ideal person must possess the following:

·        Accounting Degree

·        At least 5 years in similar role

·        Strong  manufacturing background
