Electrician

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Responsible for attending to all electrical installation, maintenance & repairs as required
2. Attends to the maintenance of Commercial Hatchery equipment & machinery as per SOPs & Bio-Security standards as required
3. Attends to repairs on Hatchery machinery & equipment as required
4. Assists with the installation of all new Hatchery equipment & machinery
5. Responsible for supervising the PP Electrical team
6. Conducts pre-operational checks and adjust equipment to produce optimally at all time
7. Fixes any electrical faults when requested

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

• National Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• 3 years experience
• Electrical skills to fix and maintain existing infrastructure
• Knowledge of drives and PLC application
• Good workmanship and use of power tool
• Proven track record demonstrating individual’s ability to maintain sound relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders as well as being able to effectively lead a team of semi – skilled artisans
