Academic Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Geography, or a related field
- Professional certification in SHEQ is an added advantage.
Experience Required:
- At least 3–4 years’ experience in a SHEQ role
- Experience in implementing and maintaining SHEQ management systems
- Knowledge of relevant safety, health, environmental, and quality regulations
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor SHEQ policies, procedures, and systems
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections
- Investigate incidents and accidents, and recommend corrective actions
- Deliver SHEQ training and awareness programs to employees
- Monitor workplace conditions to ensure a safe and healthy working environment
- Maintain SHEQ documentation and prepare reports for management and regulatory bodies
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, and environmental responsibility within the organization
- Basically all SHEQ practices
