ROLE PURPOSE:

The primary role of the Business Intelligence Manager is to work cross-functionally to ensure business decisions are data-driven and aligned with strategic goals, from hatchery performance and feed usage, to chicken processing, to cold chain distribution and inventory control and oversee the planning and forecasting activities of the company ensuring that all plans and forecasts are aligned to the business objectives.

The Business Intelligence Manager is the interface between Production Supply Chain and Sales for all forecasting and operational planning processes and is a key driver in the co-ordination and consolidation of the business processes

Key Performance Areas

1. Responsible for leveraging data analytics to identify, analyze, and drive improvements in key operational processes across the poultry value chain.
2. Responsible for the demand forecasting requirements for day old chicks, feed, table eggs, and processed chicken.
3. Responsible for providing input into the production planning process on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis           
4. Identify and utilise data and analytics to drive effective demand planning at all levels of the organization
5. Ensures compliance with company QA, SHE, GHPs (Good Hygiene Practices) and all other company SOPs & deadlines
