Director Agribusiness

Duties and Responsibilities

The Director of Agribusiness, under the oversight of the CEO, manages staff of the Department and plans, organises, supervises amd directs the work to ensure the efficient and effectove attainment of organisational goals.

• Establishing of competitive commodity value chains through market linkages for crop commodities and livestock and promote local industry and promote export of quality crops and livestock

Qualifications and Experience

• Masters Degree in Agriculture, Economics or Agribusiness
• PhD is an added advantage
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role with speciality in field crop, livestock and horticulture production
• Proven skills in leadership
• Knowledge of opertaional policies, rules, procedures and practices of organisation,
• Competence in the use of Microsift Office.
