Manager Flight Operations

Duties

• Be accountable for:
\r\n

\r\n\r\n

\r\n
1. The management and supervision of all flight operations activities;
\r\n
2. The management of quality, safety and security in flight operations;
\r\n
3. Conducting flight operations in accordance with company Air Operator Certificate and applicable regulations and standards.
\r\n

\r\n\r\n

\r\n
• Ensure operational planning and control at all times including outsourced services
\r\n
• Consider company hazards, risks and opportunities when planning, implementing and controlling Flight Operations
\r\n
• Implements risk management in Flight Operations
\r\n
• Ensure excellence in service from customer check-in to customer disembarkation
\r\n
• Ensure business continuity.
\r\n
• Manage the Fuel Policy
\r\n
• Regulatory and standards compliance
\r\n
• Achieve improvements
\r\n
• Meet and exceed customer expectation in Flight Operations
\r\n
• Ensure retention of company documentation as per documented requirements
\r\n
• Operate aircraft as per the AOC and company documentation
\r\n
• Determine the requirements for Flight Operations
\r\n
• Design outputs for Flight Operations
\r\n
• Control external service providers who interact with Flight Operations
\r\n
• Capture customer requirements in Flight Operations
\r\n
• Accountable for flight releases
\r\n
• Effectively manage Air Service and Voyage Reports
\r\n
• Oversee all crew training
\r\n
• Ensure planning activities support flight operations   
\r\n

Requirements

\r\n\r\n

\r\n
• Minimum of 5 years job-related experience
\r\n
• Experience as a Manager or Chief Pilot
\r\n
• Experience providing customer service with a proven record of success.
\r\n
• Demonstrated experience with Regulatory Authorities, knowledge of CAAZ CAR regulations.
\r\n
• Thoroughly familiar with IASA TCO Regulations
\r\n
• Should hold an Airline Professional Pilot License and associated ratings or certificates issued in accordance with CAAZ CAR, related to the Airline Operations.
\r\n
• Extensive experience as an airline pilot, with experience as airline captain.
\r\n
• Acceptable to the Authority
