Duties and Responsibilities: Strategy Execution •Lead in the development and implementation of the organisation’s strategy within the Board’s mandate. •Ensure internal organisational alignment on Strategy. •Ensure delivery of the organisation’s mandate. Financial Management •Develop and manage execution of the organisation’s budget. •Funding and Treasury management to meet the organisational programs. •Financial reporting •Design, develop, implement and oversee the sustainable growth of the organisation’s income generating and local enterprise development projects, operating within Board approved parameters. •Manage the organisations resources and ensure their effective deployment. People Leadership •Provide leadership to a cross-disciplinnary team with a shared vision to deliver on the organisation’s objectives. •Build capacity and oversee growth of employees to ensure sustainable roll out of programs that impact the community in its diversity (including women, youth and people with disability). Stakeholder Management •Carry out periodic community needs assessments, evaluations and subsequent capacity building of communities. •Must have excellent communication skills and sound stakeholder engagement and resource mobilisation skills. •Develop and nurture key national and international stakeholder relationships relevant to the organization. Governance, Risk & Compliance •Ensure timely reporting to the Board. •Ensure high-level integrity, transparency, and accountability in all forms of business interaction. •Ensure effective risk management and controls to safe- guard the organisation and its assets. Qualifications and Experience •Degree in Business Management or equivalent qualification •MBA or other relevant Master’s degree will be an added advantage •Membership of a recognized and relevant professional institution •At least 5 years of relevant experience, of which 3 should be at managerial level Closing date for applications is 3 April 2022
