Overall Job Purpose:


The Regional Data Analyst is to play a key role in the analysis & reporting of data and issues through dashboards, metrics and meetings with key business deliverables and process owners. This individual’s principal goals are to develop and manage application reporting and analysis for each origin and department. The Regional Data Analyst will work closely with Regional and Global IT as well as decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, and implement cost-effective solutions for all data analysis of the organization.


 


Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Build in depth analyses, translate the analyses into digestible insights, presenting business opportunities for strategic action, while using analysis and data to support concepts.

  • Utilize supplied primary data and mine secondary data to better support business efforts and discover opportunities in the origins and the business.

  • Create and manage Dashboards that cover a full range of demand generation metrics, as well as business enablement KPIs

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and enhance existing processes of data management for improved reporting capabilities

  • Interrogate data integrity to ensure its accuracy.

  • Conduct ongoing and ad-hoc analysis to support/drive business strategy

  • Provide analysis of operational metrics - define, refine and/or report on key operational metrics

  • Conduct research to remain up-to-date and knowledgeable in regards to industry trends and emerging technologies in anticipation of new business processes and system alterations.

  • Review performance of data to determine operating costs, productivity levels, and upgrade requirements.

  • Develop and ensure a reliable Metrics system is in place. Benchmark, analyze, report on, and make recommendations for the improvement of the Data infrastructure.

  • Ensure continuous delivery of data reports through oversight of service level agreements with end users.

  • Ensure software operation adheres to applicable laws and regulations.

  • Maintains discipline and work related ethics within the specific department.

  • Ensures accordance with company policy that all procedures related to ISO, SHE and SOX compliance are adhered to while keeping the business informed on any and all changes.


 


Qualifications and Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Accounting, or Computer Science), or equivalent work experience.

  • 3 – 5 years as a data analyst with a minimum of 2 (two) years of experience with Database management.
