• A Degree or HND in hospitality specialising in Food preparation.
• Ideally a qualified Chef from a hotel school
• Not less than 8 year’s experience as a Chef or Deli/Food Manager
• Retail experience will be an added advantage
Expected to :
• Set standards of food preparation in the organisation.
• Consistently maintain quality of food products produced in all Supermarkets
• Have experience in GPs, pricing, costing, ingredients mix wastage control and shrinkage a major advantage.
• Ensure compliance with deli and takeaway BOM
• Maintain Hygiene and Housekeeping at a high level
• Have knowledge of documentation in relation to raw material sheets, production sheets and stock control.
• Create supplier data base.
• Train staff in the department
• Hiring of qualified and experienced people to man the department.
• Though primarily based in Harare, the position requires extensive travelling in our network of branches countrywide.
• Drivers licence a must.
