OVERAL JOB PURPOSE
- Formulate and monitor the implementation of ICT strategies, policies and procedures.
- Develop and manage information systems for the organisation
- Create and maintaining the organisations’s databases
- Support an internally developed Case Management System and recommends changes in consultation with other departmental heads
- Manage Network Services through troubleshooting of challenges as well as installation and configuration of network components
- Ensure antivirus software and other security systems are up to date
- Ensure adherence to back up and restore procedures by all users
- Support the monitoring and evaluation function by providing timely data
- Record and maintain hardware and software inventories
- Administer various servers, installation of patches and monitoring of performance. ICT research
- Provide direction in the backup of Data and management of systems security to ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability of data.
- Provide first line of support in hardware repair and maintenance
- Participate in the drafting of the ICT annual budget in consultation with the finance and administration manager
- Maintain the website of the organization.
- Maintain social media platforms by providing technical support.
- Design and maintain E-learning platforms for the society and ensuring that the necessary licenses are up to date
- Collect and uploads material onto electronic media platforms timeously
- Perform ICT related Procurement duties by sourcing quotations using agreed specifications.
- Provide user training and Support on ICT related issues
- Test and evaluate new technology
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
3 years experience in a similar position
Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems Technology
Qualifications: ICT certification; CCNA, CISSP, SQL Server, Linux and Windows Server is desirable
