Head of Procurement

<p><strong>HEAD - PROCUREMENT</strong></p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul><br /> <li>Superintends the procurement of materials, services and supplies</li> <br /> <li>Provides strategic procurement management</li> <br /> <li>Develops and implements procurement policies and procedures</li> <br /> <li>Interfaces with Procurement Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe</li> <br /> <li>Prepares and Manages tender documents and reports</li> <br /> <li>Prepares the annual procurement plan</li> <br /> <li>Manages inventory</li> <br /> <li>Manages the contracts negotiation process with suppliers</li> <br /> <li>Provides technical procurement guidance/support to line managers.</li> <br /> <li>Provides leadership to the Procurement Management Unit</li> <br /> <li>Prepares monthly and annual procurement reports</li> <br /> <br /> <br /> </ul> <p><strong>Experience and Atributes</strong></p> <ul><br /> <li>Must have knowledge of the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act (Chapter 22:23)</li> <br /> <li>Must be of high integrity</li> <br /> <li>Must have excellent communication skills</li> <br /> <li>Must have at least 5 years&rsquo; experience at Managerial level</li> <br /> <br /> <br /> </ul> <p><strong>Minimum Qualifications </strong></p> <ul><br /> <li>Degree in Procurement/Purchasing and Supply Management or Supply Chain Management or equivalent.</li> <br /> <li>Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply Diploma ( CIPS)</li> <br /> <li>Clean class four driver&rsquo;s licence</li> <br /> <br /> <br /> </ul>
