Assistant Accountant

Main Duties:

• Preparation of monthly consolidated Management Accounts
• Review of monthly reconciliations for the finance department
• Preparation of monthly control file
• Prepares the year end and half year Financial Accounts
• Prepares the tax returns and submits on time
• Authorises and post journals for the Finance Department
• Liaises with external auditors
• Verifies ledger account transactions and makes corrections where necessary
• Any other Duties as assigned
• Consolidates the group budget

Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting from a reputable University with at least a Degree Class 2.1 pass or better.
• A minimum of 3 years relevant experience in the Accounting field.
• Membership of a Professional accounting body an added advantage.
