Presenting ideas for system improvements, including cost proposals
Working closely with analysts, designers and staff
Designing, scripting, coding, testing, and documentation of the development of custom software, using agreed standards and tools, to achieve well-engineered bespoke solutions and interfaces to existing systems.
Testing the product in controlled, real situations before going live
Preparation of training manuals and system documentation for the supporter teams and service desk.
Maintaining the systems once they are up and running.
Qualifications:
A degree in Computer Science or related qualification
HND in IT Systems
Project Management Diploma will be an added advantage
Knowledge of object-oriented programming & Web Services e.g. C++, Java, Microsoft, NET, SQL
3 years experience in Systems Analysis, Design, Programming, Support, and Systems Integration, Sybase Database Administration, Postilion Administration
