Innovation Officer

<p><strong>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p> <ul> <li>Assisting in Leading development of Innovation Strategy and driving the innovation process from ideation to proof of concept across all organizational levels</li> <li>Aligning Innovation and Business Strategy by ensuring that all stakeholders have visibility of strategic objectives or aspirations in line with our business principles</li> <li>Defining business problems and inviting for solutions</li> <li>Maintaining a database of past and current Idea/Solution submission for reference and action tracking</li> <li>Driving Simplicity and Customer Obsession whilst lowering the cost to serve in product or process development</li> <li>Documenting and efficiently streamlining Group processes with regards to <ul> <li>Products</li> <li>Procedures</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <ul style="list-style-type:square"> <li>Driving agility in formulation of a sound business case for any strategic or innovation initiative in any part of the Group</li> <li>Formulating collaboration models toward insights driven business case formulation and implementation of ideas (Customer, Staff and or Research Groups)</li> <li>Developing Churn Management Models</li> <li>Business process improvement via the methodical investigation, analysis, review and documentation of functional business specifications</li> </ul> <p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE</strong></p> <p>A degree in Computer Science Engineering or related Degree</p> <p>5 years relevant experience</p> <p>A post-graduate qualification such as MBA or Strategic Management is an added advantage</p> <p>At least 3 years&rsquo; experience in an information technology-business or business development or sales environment is an added advantage</p>
