Process Engineer

Main Duties:

Safety

• Maintain a strict adherence to safety policies and procedures for individuals within the process team and control
• Ensure process is calibrated and designed at the least/minima health and safety risks to operators

Environment

• Assume responsibility of the product lifecycle
• Ensure efficient process raw material conversion

Quality Assurance

• Assume responsibility for the laboratory and its associated functions
• Optimize and maintain the overall performance of the process as per WCM standards

Risk

• Identify business risks associated with the process
• Implementation of risk mitigation plans for the process

Research and Development

• Carry out research and development on the process and lead new product development initiatives

Qualifications:

• Degree in Engineering: Process / Chemical / Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering
• At least 2 years experience
• Project Management qualification
• Engineering Council of Zimbabwe Registration
• SHERQ Systems certification (Systems development/Internal audit) – Advantage
• Knowledge and or certification of WCM, LEAN, SIX SIGMA tools - Advantage
