Farm Manager

Main Duties:

• Ensuring that farming projects coordinated are profitable and meet projected financial targets
• Meeting with farm owners and providing advisory services, associated trainings and agronomical support to enhance optimum cotton production levels.
• Planning and farm management activities to ensure best practices and high quality cotton production output.
• Directing and coordinating worker activities, including land preparation, cotton growing, irrigation, pest control, harvesting and grading.
• Contracting with farmers &/or independent owners for cotton production.
• Coordinating activities with related departments as appropriate.
• Assisting in ensuring that all manpower plans related to cotton farming projects are complied with.
• Information recording keeping and information management, such as input & labour costs, production and farm management practices.
• Weekly, Monthly, Annual reporting, Recording information, including farm financial and operational reports.
• Determining and recommend procedural changes in activities for greater efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture or equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience in managing the production of cotton
