To ensure efficient operations through the application of engineering principles coupled with sound machine-shop practice.
Develops engineering and manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying and testing manufacturing methods and plant and equipment.
Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and materials costs; reviewing production schedules and estimating future requirements.
Maintains product and company reputation by complying with laid down manufacturing regulations.
Ensure that the plant and equipment is operational by co-ordinating maintenance and repair services following manufacturer’s instructions and established procedures.
Requirements
least a degree in Mechanical or Electrical or Production and Manufacturing Engineering.
MBA and membership with the Zimbabwe Institute of Engineers an added advantage.
