Director Certification Services

Main Duties

• Participates in the formulation of vision and review of policies to achieve strategic goals
• Recommends strategies for new business opportunities
• Liaise with stakeholders to promote business development
• Sets, reviews and approves Departmental objectives
• Sets and monitors monthly, quarterly and annual Departmental performance targets and budgets
• Ensures the establishment and implementation of processes and procedures as required by ISO/ IEC 17021.
• Implements revenue generating projects and activities for the Association
• Ensures compliance to documented procedures by staff
• Implements a framework for tracking the performance of the Certification Services Department in line with the Association’s goals

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent professional qualification
• Master’s Degree e.g. MBA or MBL
• At least 8 years’ experience, 4 years at Senior Management level
• Familiarity with products and management system certification standards (ISO/IEC Guide 65 /ISO/IEC 17021, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 etc)
