Overall Purpose The purpose of this position is to perform maintenance of the facilities and ensure that, into-plane fueling activities are done safely, effectively, and efficiently, whilst maintaining the JIG Quality Control and Operating Standards. Qualifications and Experience <ul><li class="ql-align-justify">Class 1 Artisan, Mechanical Fitter/ Fitter &amp;Turner (machinist) or related trades.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or any related technical course.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Minimum post qualification working experience of three (3) years.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Exposure of petroleum or mining industries will be an added advantage</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Knowledge of aviation operations and products will be an added advantage.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Class 2 driver's license.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Good knowledge of approved and acceptable Safety, Health, Environment (SHE) and Security requirements, which apply to the Airfield Operation especially JIGHSSEMS.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Carry out all operations in compliance with the JIG 1 and JIG 2 standards.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Carry out repairs and maintenance on both the fixed and mobile equipment.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Expertise in the operation, repair and maintenance in the correct functionality of both the fixed and the mobile equipment’s safety interlock control systems i.e. pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Carry out routine and mandatory equipment checks and inspections including calibrations.</li></ul>
