Sorting Clerks

Main Duties

·       Examines and assess cash deposited by Banks and Retail Tellers to eliminate counterfeits, soiled, mutilated and foreign denomination notes from circulating.

·       Prepares cash seals, bands and sealer packs for the day.

·       Punches and shreds soiled notes.

·       Checks and escorts cash movements.

·      Updates the discrepancy register.

·      Balances and secures worksheet at end of business.

Qualifications & Experience

The ideal candidates should have:

·    ‘5’ O Levels.

·     At least 6 months relevant experience.

Skills & Competences

·    Numerical skills.

·    High level of confidentiality.

·    Good communication and inter-personal skills.

·    Attention to detail

·    Computer literacy.
