Layers Rearing Manager (Poultry)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1.    Responsible for meeting targets for commercial layers in rear for our layer’s sites

2.    Responsible for managing the Layers Rearing site teams.

3.    Responsible for Layers Rearing Sites equipment & stocks

4.    Ensures that biosecurity, QA SOPs, animal welfare, Financial SOPSs, and S.H.E standards are adhered to at all times by the Layer Rearing team

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

·        Relevant Animal Science/ Agribusiness tertiary educational qualification and demonstrable managerial experience.

·        Sound knowledge of dynamics involved in growing chickens.

·        Poultry experience

·        Proven track record demonstrating individual’s ability to maintain sound relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders as well as being able to implement effective management systems.

·        Ability to work both independently and as a team.
