The Applications/System Analyst is responsible for analysing, designing, and implementing technology solutions that meet business needs. This role involves collaboration with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop specifications, and support the deployment and maintenance of systems.
Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document business requirements.
System Design: Create detailed specifications and design documents for new systems and enhancements to existing systems.
Analysis: Evaluate current systems and processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements. Read reports from our applications/systems and provide timely feedback to business
Testing: Develop test plans and conduct system testing to ensure quality and functionality of applications.
Implementation: Oversee the implementation of new systems, including configuration and integration with existing IT infrastructure.
Support and Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing support, resolving issues and ensuring system reliability and performance.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system processes, user manuals, and technical specifications.
Training: Conduct training sessions for end-users to ensure effective use of applications and systems.
Collaboration: Work closely with IT developer, and business units to align technology solutions with organisational goals.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: [5] years of experience in systems analysis, application development, or a related field.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in relevant programming languages, databases, and software development methodologies.
Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking skills.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with stakeholders at all levels.
Project Management: Familiarity with project management principles and methodologies is a plus.
