We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Internal Audit Manager to join our team. This role is critical in evaluating the effectiveness of our internal controls, risk management processes, and governance practices to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conducting internal audits across various departments to assess compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Preparing annual audit plans and compiling audit programs for each audit.
  • Communicating internal audit dates & scope with HODs and conducting follow-ups after internal audits
  • Evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls and recommending improvements.
  • Preparing audit reports detailing findings, risks, and actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborating with management to develop and implement corrective action plans.
  • Staying updated on industry regulations and best practices in internal auditing.
  • Assisting in the development of the annual audit plan and risk assessment processes.
  • Compiling Internal Audit Board reports quarterly.
  • Maintaining Internal Audit database, reports and documents.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. 5 years of managerial experience in internal auditing, accounting, or a related field; relevant certifications (CIA, CPA) are a plus.
  3. Strong understanding of auditing standards and risk management principles.
  4. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  5. Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite
