Job role
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving the sales of organisation's products within Zimbabwe and across Africa. This role combines technical expertise with business development and relationship management skills, ensuring that organisation's offerings align with the needs of potential customers and partners. The individual will play a key role in expanding the organisation's market footprint by developing strategic partnerships and securing new business deals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to market the organisation's products across targeted sectors in Zimbabwe and Africa.
2. Translate complex technical features into compelling value propositions for prospective customers. Present solutions to clients in a way that aligns with their business needs.
3. Identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships with potential technology and business partners across the African region to drive business growth.
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
5. Analyse the market to identify potential customers, understand competitors, and stay updated on emerging trends in technology and sales within the region.
6. Work with internal teams to adapt and customize the organisation's products products based on specific client requirements or market demands.
7. Lead negotiations with customers and partners to close deals, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
8. Track sales metrics, generate reports on sales performance, and provide insights to the leadership team on potential growth areas.
