Responsibilities
· Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs, ensure that procurement policy and guidelines support the needs of the organisation, and that best practise is delivered.
· Support the procurement team in the delivery of procurement strategies relating to all spending areas.
· Support the procurement team on complex negotiations to optimise overall commercial position.
· Manage the end-to-end procurement process for key contracts in collaboration with key business areas.
· Develop supplier strategies as appropriate.
· Ensure processes and procedures are fully documented and followed.
· Deliver competitive advantage through cost savings, lifecycle value generation, demand management.
· Evaluating and strategic sourcing of potential suppliers.
· Devising initiatives to drive procurement performance.
· Negotiating contracts with vendors to secure the best deals and terms.
· Maintaining advantageous relationships with suppliers and managing disputes.
· Monitoring supplier performance for optimal business operations performance.
· Forecasting to predict future demand for goods, services, and purchase requisitions.
· Collaborating with internal departments to ensure procurement needs are met.
Requirements
· BSc degree in supply chain management and logistics
· A minimum of 3 years of experience in Procurement management.
Experience in the Construction Industry is an added advantage.
