Plan, coordinate, and monitor logistics and transport operations (inbound & outbound) to ensure efficient delivery schedules and optimal inventory levels.
Develop and implement logistics strategies tailored to FMCG and manufacturing requirements.
Supervise and manage a team of drivers, warehouse staff, and logistics coordinators.
Oversee fleet management, vehicle maintenance, and compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with transporters, suppliers, and third-party logistics providers.
Monitor logistics performance through KPIs, ensuring continuous improvement in cost, service, and quality.
Coordinate with production, sales, and procurement departments to align supply chain activities.
Ensure proper documentation and compliance with all statutory and company policies.
Resolve transportation and logistics issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, or related field.
At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within the FMCG and/or manufacturing sectors.
Strong understanding of supply chain processes, inventory management, and route optimization.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
