<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilites</strong></p> <p>-Lead the human resources function and team in the delivery of quality human resource and organisational development processes and services for the organisation.</p> <p>-Provide specialist advice, guidance and support regarding current industrial award provisions, legislative matters and change management processes relating to new people projectsand structural reforms.</p> <p>-Develop and implement employee performance related remuneration throughout the business.</p> <p>-Coordinate the activities of workers committees and works council (and any other communication and negotiation forum) with the objective of ensuring a harmonious work environment.</p> <p>-Oversee and provide considered guidance, and support to deliver individual and broad employee relations outcomes including, disciplinary matters, grievances and disputes.</p> <p>-Oversee organisational development strategies within the organisation focusing on leadership, team building and the measurement of outcomes through employee engagement surveys.</p> <p>-Oversee the identification and appropriate management of human resource related business risks across all functional areas.</p> <p>-Establish policies to ensure adequate management development and to provide for capable management succession.</p> <p>-Develop and implement Human Resources strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy and culture.</p> <p>-Oversee the effectvive and efficient management of the functional areas of work and health and safety, employee relations, employee engagement, recruitment, payroll, performance management, learning and development, and organisational development.</p> <p>-Develop a current workforce plan anchored on the business strategy in the short, medium and long-term.</p> <p><strong>Qualifications and experience</strong></p> <p>-Degree in Social Sciences or Human Resources Management</p> <p>-Minimum of 5 years in a managerial position</p>
