Develop and implement a marketing structure and activity plan for the Airline with a view to meet revenue targets and establish market presence
Manage the communication and planning of all marketing offline and online campaigns whilst observing brand guidelines
Source and coordinate new and innovative marketing and assume the role of brand guardian
Liaise and manage stakeholder and partner relationships specific to cooperative marketing activity
Measure and monitor the return on investment for all promotional activity and observe the marketing budget
Develop point of sale and marketing related material
Coordinate and monitor digital and social media updates
Support the Sales team activities with a view to guiding revenue and increasing customer loyalty in accordance with agreed business plans
Observe and comply with all procurement, finance and contractual policies and procedures and ensure the marketing team is compliant with company requirements
Work with finance to ensure that the marketing expenditure must be in line with the marketing plan and commercial plan
Ensure suppliers are entered into the work flow in terms of company policy
Requirements
A minimum of five (5) years previous experience in a marketing role in the aviation sector, hospitality or travel industry
A University Degree in Marketing or relevant tertiary qualification in marketing or communications is preferred
Related Masters Degree is an added advantage
Experience with e-commerce, digital marketing and social media
Experience in managing content and updating digital platforms
A proven record in brand management and branded marketing communications
Exceptional written communication skills
Excellent time management and organisational skills to coordinate multiple project and deadlines
