DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To lead business processes on the Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) and Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) Systems.
  • Collaborates with the System Vendor in analyzing the data needs to meet business requirements and assisting IT in mapping of data from the bank source system to the OFSAA/OBIEE platform.
  • Collaborates with the System Vendor on the implementation of OFSAA/OBIEE applications i.e. installation, identification of business requirements, functional design & process design (solution design), and configuration of the system, User Acceptance Tests, Solution Integration testing, migration to production environment, handover - takeover.
  • Supports business users in testing implemented systems to check if the systems meet their requirements.
  • Support IT users in testing the system parameters to ensure the system has been implemented as per policy.
  • Acts as the bridge between the Vendor and the Client user group, in terms of users’ requirements from OFSAA/OBIEE and what is supposed to be implemented by the Vendor to meet the requirements.
  • Represents the company on all OFSAA, OBIEE and Data Analytics implementations.
  • Works with stakeholders from different departments i.e. Finance, Risk, Treasury, Auditors and IT during OFSAA/OBIEE implementations and upgrades.
  • Analyses data and assist stakeholders in addressing issues if any, before it is loaded in the OFSAA system for processing.
  • Loads data in the OFSAA system.
  • Traces and rectifies batch failures if any, when the OFSAA system is running.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer science.
  • An Oracle Trained specialist with demonstrated experience in oracle Systems
  • Must have knowledge of IFRS9 requirements
  • Must be able to interpret system results for business application
  • A Business or Commercial degree is an added advantage
