The role is responsible for ensuring that the company’s technology supports new innovations in a fast changing payments world.



  • Leads the IT function of the company

  • Responsible for ensuring an exceptional customer experience for participants

  • Supervision of the Technical Support team in delivering timely and quality customer service,

  • Ensures efficiency of technical solutions with high Service Level Agreements.

  • Establishes & monitors objectives for the operations function and staff members to align with department strategies and objectives.

  • Successfully leads definition, development and delivery of major cross-department initiatives with broad scope and long-term business implications.

  • Partners with business to identify innovative solutions and drive strategic decisions.

  • Actively looks for opportunities for Innovation and creative problem solving. Make presentations to the Senior Management, Business Owners and other Stakeholders and help them in decision making process.

  • Works with Enterprise & Solution Architects to provide recommendation to Senior Management on defining strategies and roadmaps.

  • Leads implementation of processes and supporting tools per the evolving needs of the organization. Identifying process gaps, provide estimates for business solutions, define the initial scope/requirements of the project and manage the scope during the lifecycle of the project. Plan overall project scope as well as define scope for each phase and iteration to meet business needs/time-to-market needs.

  • Ensures the project or effort is adequately staffed; trained and managed. Ensure personnel have required skills and behaviors; and effectively communicate performance results; as necessary, managing each effort within approved manpower and budget guidelines.

  • Performs strategic planning; financial planning; administration and management of the operations units.


 


THE PERSON:



  • University Degree: Bsc Computer Science, Bsc Information Technology, Bsc Honours Degree in Information Technology,  Bsc Honours in Information Systems or equivalent.

  • A minimum of three years` experience in financial services at a management or supervisory level

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft excel and word systems

  • Basic knowledge of payment operations industry, including exposure to Switch, EFT or ACH operational practices preferred

  • Experience utilizing and coaching AGILE delivery methods on projects
