Field Operations Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the Operations manager in developing , implementing preventative and predictive maintenance initiatives.
- Assist in the development of annual budgets for capital expenditure.
- Assist the Operations manager in providing technical assistance and operational support as required , specifically with respect to environmental conditions , energy
utilisation, and the basic functions of electrical ,air-conditioning , refrigeration , power generation and distribution ,structural and ,mechanical systems.
- Closely manage external service providers.
- Assist with the development and training of staff in various SAFETY PROGRAMS and assure all Occupational and Healthy regulations are adhered to.
- Closely manage maintenance budgets.
- Assist the Operations manager in ensuring adherences to various governmental laws, codes, regulations
- Planning directing, training, supervising and scheduling of all aspects of the Operations Department.
- Anticipate problems/Faults and find appropriate solutions. Investigate ,analyse and resolve Operational problems and complaints from Branches.
- Provide clear ,concise and timely communication of directives to all Operations Departments.
- Determine the most efficient and economical means of Labour utilisation to carry out assigned tasks.
- Assist in continuous development ,management and fully utilisation of the Online job reporting programme.
- Assist in overseeing inventory control and purchase of equipment and spares.
- Implementing Housekeeping and instruct housekeeping staff to ensure that the Branch is kept in a perpetual; state and good order.

- Ability to prioritize and to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to effectively supervise staff.
- Good written , verbal and interpersonal skills required ,ability to interact at all levels
- Proficient presentation , appearance and work ethic.
- Computer literate.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and as a TEAM PLAYER
- Clean class 4 driver’s license.
- Valid Defensive driving certificate.
- Age limit 35 – 40.
- Male.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Either a Qualified Electrician or Refrigeration technician.
- Must have served a 5 year apprenticeship with a reputable organisation.
- Must have served 5 years in a management position.
- Must be a class one Journeyman /Artisan in the fields mentioned above.
- Must have traceable references.
