Developing and managing project policies, procedures, templates, and other shared documentation (organisation process assets),

And coordinating communication across projects.

Aligning projects to organisational strategic direction.

Background Requirements

4 Year Degree in BSC Electrical Engineering Honours.

BSC Mechanical Engineering Honours.

To lead, manage, plan, direct and coordinate the mine’s business projects portfolio to achieve and or meet projects requirements and support strategic objectives.

The project management is accomplished through appropriate integration of the logically grouped project management processes (typically 42 processes) comprising initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and control and closing.

Project management typically involves:

Exploration of new projects in the new business arena.

Desktop studies for target acquisitions.

Technical due diligence for new assets to inform acquisition strategy.

Assist in financial, commercial and other due diligence.

Managing project governance across the projects life cycle.

Identifying projects requirements,

Managing project management outputs over the project life cycle,

Addressing the various needs, concerns, and expectations of the stakeholders as the project is planned and carried out,

Balancing the competing project constraints including but not limited to scope, quality, schedule, budget, resources and risk management.

Managing change during the projects life cycle.

Achieving project objectives.
