PROJECT ENGINEER
Job Purpose
The job will be responsible for planning, forecasting budgeting, overseeing and documenting all aspects of the projects you are working on. This will be inclusive of making sure the scope and direction of each project is delivered timeously and within the estimated budget. The Project engineer will be responsible for the design, engineering, drawings and related documents for telecommunications client projects. This position will interpret client requirements and prepare contract documents.

The incumbent must have:
- Leadership Skills: You will have to keep your team members motivated, resolve conflicts and make hard decisions within the team.
- Time Management: You will be working with your team, customers and management, often multitasking.
- Math and Budgeting: You will be expected to keep and maintain a budget in almost every field. You will need to be confident in using math skills to make sure you know where your company's money is going.
- Analytical Skills: You will also need analytical skills to be able to solve problems that may come up during a typical work day. You will be analysing data and making decisions that affect the project on a regular basis.
- Strong computer skills
Qualification and Experience
- Background in telecommunications particularly infrastructure design, implementation, support and systems integration is an added advantage
- Degree in Telecommunications or related field
- Professional qualification in Project Management
