&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Academic Qualifications:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;B(Com) Accounting or equivalent&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Must be a CA/ have completed ACCA/ CIS/ CIMA/ICAZ&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;MBA is an added advantage&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Additional Training Required:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Tax&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Business etiquette&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Experience:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;5 years at Finance Manager&amp;rsquo;s level&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Skills Required:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Interpersonal skills (negotiation skills)&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Project management&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Treasury management&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Budgetary control&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Tax planning and management&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Financial reporting skills&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Overall Purpose:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Focus on development and implementation of organisational Strategy, including financial &amp;amp; business advisory and secretarial services to the GCEO and the Board.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Main Job Duties &amp;amp; Responsibilities:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Evaluate and Appraise Capital Projects for both expansion and diversification purposes&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Do all company secretarial responsibilities including taking Board minutes&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Ensures adherence to organisational goals through budgetary control and other business tools put in place&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Fund raising for both Capital and Working Capital Requirements for the Organisation&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Designs, manages and monitors reporting systems, including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), to all departments and to aid management decision in achievement of stated objectives regarding revenue, profitability, and market share.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Ensures the timely production of accurate and complete sets of financial reports including audited financial statements;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Ensures Compliance with statutory and other regulatory requirements&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Manages the human resources complement in the finance and administration department&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Carry-out any other tasks as assigned by the GCEO&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Decision Making:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Allocation and prioritisation of financial resources&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Product pricing in consultation with GCEO and Sales&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Capital Expenditure in consultation with GCEO and Operational GMs&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Departmental restructuring in consultation with GCEO and HR&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Setting up operational procedures for the department as well as giving direction to staff&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Problem Solving:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Meeting deadlines for management and audited statutory reports&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Liquidity challenges especially for Capital Expenditure&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Formulating accurate business plan/ budget in this cash strapped economy&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Planning Required:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Budget&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Cash flow&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Business Development&lt;/p&gt;
