Sytems Analyst

Our client skees to hire a suitably qualified and experienced Systems Analyst to fill a vacancy that has risen within their organisation.

The Systems Analysy shall be responsible for Implementing computer system requirements by defining and analysing system problems, designing and testing standards and solutions.

Responsibilities

1. Defines application problem by conferring with clients evaluating procedures and processes.
2. Develops and maintains an up to date plan for the deployment of software.
3. Identifies, analyses and resolves software problems while providing reference by writing documentation.
4. Diagnoses hardware, software and network problems affecting Information systems to minimise downtime.
5. Monitors service level agreements with users and external parties.
6. Helps in appraisal of information system performance.
7. Installs patches to systems in accordance with vendor specifications.
8. Implements service level agreements to ensure good service delivery.
9. Coordinates support functions including those of third party suppliers.
10. Maintains a list of customer queries to maintain troubleshooting knowledge base.
11. Supports business continuity initiatives for information systems.

Qualifications & Experience

The ideal candidate should have:

• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or Electronic Engineering.
• Banking applications installation and support experience.
• At least a certification in Networking, Database Administration, Operating Systems, Programming.
• At least 2 years relevant working experience.
