Supporting and advising the Country Manager and the Line Managers with good tools and analysis of business trends and company/business line performance to enable business development based on sound decisions;
Control the consolidated performance of the company and make sure that financial reporting and accounting matters are in accordance with the company’s and local statutory accounting practice;
Following up of internal business policies and procedures, in line with local legal and group requirements;
Ensure the functional areas of corporate administration and management services such as finance, tax, office administration, systems and procedures, internal communications, property and insurance operate efficiently to provide effective support to the operations;
Maintaining a close working relationship with the company’s divisions, including preparation and presentation of Business Review & Company Review meetings as well as follow up on divisional objectives, projects and expectations.
Pro-active highlighting of red flags whenever compliance with sound business principles are at risk and putting in place action plans when and where necessary;
Lead and develop various teams in terms of both people and process development;
Train, develop and coach the Management team in financial skills as well as proactive financial/business understanding.
Experience requirements:
Business analysis skills with solid experience in finance and business management.
Proven track record of focus on quality, accuracy, deadlines and orderly work.
At least 5 years’ experience in Financial and Business Management.
Knowledge:
Familiar with general accounting principles, IFRS, cost accounting and statutory accounting rules.
